The Cat’s Meow® Village – Harrietstown Town Hall

Harrietstown Town Hall, the centerpiece of Saranac Lake was built in 1888 and rebuilt in 1928 following a fire. Today it houses municipal offices with an auditorium hosting national and local stage productions. Saranac Lake's Winter Carnival coronation ceremonies are annually held here.

The Cat’s Meow® Village – Little Red

"Little Red," Saranac Lake's best known tuberculosis cure cottage, is where Dr. Edward Livingston Trudeau pioneered his clean mountain air cure. Built in 1884 to house patients, this one-room cottage became the historic symbol of Trudeau's Adirondack Cottage Sanitarium. Little Red now sits at Trudeau Institute, a world leader in biomedical research.
